The Real Threat

Here we are, wasting an entire election season debating stupid things like terrorism, jobs, gay marriage, Iraq, health care, the federal budget and the Kyoto Treaty, while the real threat goes unmentioned.  Kangaroos are killing with impunity.  How will you protect us, Mr. Bush?  What's your plan, Mr. Kerry?  Why are you such a pathetic jerk, Mr. Nader?

(Hat tip goes to the Captain's Quarters.)

Well, dear fredo, you are absolutely correct about the real threat to humanity. Unfortunately, it seems that you and i are the only ones to realize this. I mean, there won't be any sort of an economy when were are killed by the kangaroos...
However, I must say that I think you got Mr. Nader and Mr. Bush's names mixed up. Judging by your brillant mind, i hope i am correct in assuming that you a liberal democrat, please don't let me down.

We would diminish the dignity of our Spherehood if we expressed opinions about partisan politics.

Two Apache Regiments should be able to clean up the mess, followed on by an Armored Cavalry regiment to mop up. That's my accessment of the tactical situatuion. Of course we will require an Infantry Division to keep the PETA creeps off the killing fields. Any maybe some CIA Predator Drones to monitor and blow away any Hollywood do-gooder types who come in to support the PETA fources on the ground.
